Founded in honor of Serhiy Kemskyi, Hero of Ukraine, Hero of the Heavenly Hundred, historian, political scientist, and journalist. The competition is part of the «Awards of the Heroes» project.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, together with the National Memorial Complex of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred — the Museum of the Revolution of Dignity, and the NGO «Families of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred», invites students to take part in the VI research paper competition on the topic of the Revolution of Dignity.
The purpose of the competition — to promote academic research of the events of the Revolution of Dignity, encourage critical rethinking of Ukraine’s recent history, and support talented youth.
The competition is open to students of higher education institutions of all specialties.
Competition stages:
Selection of winners and awards: The jury will evaluate the papers during August 2026, and the official announcement of winners will take place between September 1 and October 1, 2026. The best works will be published in the Museum’s academic collections, and the winners will be invited to Kyiv for an award ceremony and public presentation of their research.

The International Student Research Competition “Black Sea Science” aims to expand international relations, enhance students’ scientific work as a crucial factor in professional development, and involve students in scientific programs, projects, design, and other forms of research activities.
The competition is held in the following areas:
Food Science and Technology;
Economics and Management;
Information Technology, Automation, and Robotics;
Energy and Energy Efficiency;
Ecology and Environmental Protection;
Tourism and Hotel Management.
School pupils and students of higher educational institutions, regardless of ownership and subordination forms, who, by the end of the second stage of the competition, are obtaining higher education degrees of “Junior Specialist”, “Junior Bachelor”, “Bachelor”, “Master”, “Doctor of Philosophy” can participate in the competition. Works may be evaluated in various nominations, particularly based on the professional experience level of participants and the degree of education.
The competition includes scientific works that are carried out independently, submitted for the first time, and free of plagiarism. Works must be innovative or exploratory in nature within the relevant direction.

The State Scientific Institution “Institute of Modernization of Education Content” is organizing an essay contest titled “1000 Days of War. My Path.” The purpose of the contest is to emphasize the importance of Peace as a core value of society and to foster tolerance and understanding among the youth.

Eligible to participate in the contest are essays (hereafter – Essays) by students of grades 9-11 of general secondary education institutions, vocational (professional-technical) education institutions, college students, and teachers/lecturers of the specified educational institutions in Ukraine. The Essay must be written in Ukrainian and contain up to 600 words.
Essays must be signed by the author, indicating their surname and first name, date and year of birth, name of the educational institution, class, current place of residence, as well as the region and place of residence before the war (for internally displaced persons, their contact phone number and email address, and the name of the teacher who inspired the writing of the Essay (these details should be specified at the top of the page). The Essay must be original and unpublished. Plagiarism or copying of others’ works or stories is prohibited. The Essay must be based on real events and true stories. The Essay is created solely by the author. Co-authorship is not allowed. Copyright for the Essay is transferred to the contest Organizer.
The Organizer maintains the confidentiality of the authors’ personal data.
Essays that do not meet the contest requirements, promote violence, racism, xenophobia, sexism, contain explicit or hidden advertising of goods, services, or organizations, or are partially or fully written with the help of artificial intelligence. Essays submitted after the submission deadline will not be accepted for the contest.

1st place: winner’s diploma and a gift (tablet) – 10 participants

Electronic diplomas are provided for all finalists. The authors of the best works among teachers (10 participants) will receive external drives. 20 participants with the best works among the finalists will receive incentive prizes – phone/tablet stands. The three most active mentors who involved the most participants in writing essays will receive gifts from the contest Organizer.
The non-governmental analytical center “Ukrainian Studies of Strategic Research” announced an all-Ukrainian essay contest for youth on the theme “Freedom to Nations! Freedom to Individuals! — History and Prospects of the Struggle of Peoples Enslaved by Russia” as part of the Bandera Readings.
The aim of the contest is to involve young intellectuals in the study of the history of the liberation struggle of peoples enslaved by Russia. To reveal the forms of resistance of peoples against Russian imperialism, individual uprisings or essays about the leaders of the liberation struggle, the experience of restoring independence, and military resistance.
Young researchers are invited to participate: military personnel, university students, master’s and doctoral candidates, teachers and scientists, representatives of enslaved peoples.
Contest Themes:
Works are accepted in Ukrainian until December 1, 2024.
The announcement of results and awarding of winners will take place during the Bandera Readings in February 2025.

The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Issues and the Center for Adaptation of Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union announced the All-Ukrainian competition of creative works among young people, which is organized with the support of the Union of Young Civil Servants of Ukraine.
The purpose of the competition: creating conditions for finding, supporting and developing ambitious and motivated young people, expanding their participation in the formation and implementation of public policy and public administration, forming the interest of the younger generation in public service and improving the image of civil servants in society.
In 2024, the Competition will be held in 7 nominations:

♦ «Political education and political culture»;
♦ «Reconstruction and restoration of the education system under martial law»;
♦ «The public service of my dreams»;
♦ «Restoration of Ukraine based on the values of human rights»;

Young people aged 14 to 35 can participate in the Competition (individually or in creative teams).
