The scientific-methodical council of the university is an advisory body that monitors, analyzes, coordinates, plans scientific and methodical work and develops recommendations for their improvement. The aim is to achieve the world level of education quality and acquiring indisputable competitive advantages for the participants of educational activities.
It is within the competence of the Scientific and Methodological Council:
♦ Generalization of the best experience in the organization of educational and methodological work of institutes, university departments, European and world experience, development of recommendations for its dissemination and implementation in the educational process of the university.
♦ Implementation of the university’s policy in the field of ensuring the quality of educational activities and the quality of higher education.
♦ Coordination of scientific and methodical work of institutes, departments.
♦ Discussion of projects of regulatory documents regulating the organization and content of educational and methodological support, scientific activities, preparation of recommendations for their improvement.
♦ Coordination of the development of normative documents of the University, their discussion and submission to the consideration of the Academic Council of the University.
♦ Formation of proposals for improving the internal system of quality assurance at the university.
♦ Analysis of the results of monitoring the quality of the university’s educational activities and development of recommendations for its procedural improvement.
♦ Formation of proposals for the development of certification programs at the university and formation of educational disciplines for free choice by students.
♦ Unification of requirements for the form and content of educational plans, work programs of educational disciplines; ensuring consistency of curricula and work curricula within the university.
♦ Review and approval of projects of study plans of applicants of all levels of higher education.
♦ Development of methodological recommendations for improvement of educational and methodological support of educational disciplines.
♦ Promoting the use of innovative teaching methods, modern technical means and software products in the educational process.
♦ Recommendation for publication of scientific and educational literature.
♦ Approval of programs for advanced training courses for scientific and pedagogical workers.
♦ Approval of collections of abstracts of reports of the IEU scientific conferences.
♦ Approval of reports on research work commissioned by individuals and legal entities under agreements on scientific and technical cooperation.
