Since 2021, the Scientific Club for Medical Biology, Histology, Cytology and Embryology, Medical and Biological Physics has been operating at the Department of Fundamental and Medical Preventive Disciplines.
♦ Histology for the curious: the adaptive and regenerative capabilities of organs are studied in more detail, taking into account their tissue composition, features of the regulation of age-related changes; interpretation of patterns of human embryonic development, regulation of morphogenesis processes.
♦ In-depth study of medical biology: research of the main issues of medical biology, general laws and mechanisms of ontogenetic transformations of organisms of different taxonomic groups of animals, peculiarities of their course under different effects of environmental factors, in normal and pathological conditions; peculiarities of microscopic and submicroscopic organization of animal organisms of different taxonomic groups at different stages of embryogenesis; methods and algorithms of analysis that can be used when setting up experiments in related sciences and within the framework of interdisciplinary projects and that require in-depth knowledge of general and medical biology.
♦ Physics in medicine: spreading knowledge about the use of physical methods and devices in medicine, as well as deepening the understanding of the physical principles underlying medical and diagnostic measurements.
Based on the results of the research work, the winners prepare and publish theses, articles and reports at scientific and practical conferences, etc.
